Alberto Altomare has developed a twenty-year professional experience in the field of Industrial Property. He started his career working at a Patent Office located in Milan and specialized in inventions of chemical topic (fluorinated polymers, polymerization initiators, polymeric compositions).
On February 2001 he started to work for Basell Poliolefine Italia at the "Giulio Natta” Research Center located in Ferrara, Italy. This is a Research Center of international level in the polyolefin field, equipped with research laboratories, pilot plants, industrial plants for producing catalysts, polypropylene and polyethylene. His skills concerned mainly the patentability analysis of the inventions coming from the research center and the drafting and prosecuting of patent applications of chemical topic (polyolefinic compositions, polymerization catalysts, olefin polymerization processes) and mechanical topic (equipment, polymerization plants, portions of a polymerization reactor).
After completing his career in Basell, he joined GLP S.r.l. in Udine, an internationally renowned Patent and Trademark consulting firm, with the main role of drafting patent applications of mechanical and chemical topic.
Starting from September 2018 he has joined the professional team of the Studio Cavattoni-Raimondi. His daily activity focuses on patentability analysis before filing, the patent protection of chemical, pharmaceutical and mechanical inventions, and the prosecution of patent applications before the UIBM, EPO, USPTO and other foreign patent Offices.
